Mini-Lecture for High School Students

During 2016, Prof. Dr. Geert Duijsters and Dr. Jeroen Kuilman have given a series of mini-lectures on corporate entrepreneurship to high school students (4-VWO). The lectures focus on the topic “Why are Nokia phones no longer popular” and explain to high school students how well-established corporations can sometimes quickly lose ground when confronted with disruptive innovations (smartphones in the case of Nokia). The mini-lectures are given to visiting high school students as part of the 4VWO orientation days that Tilburg University organizes to better connect with schools in the region. They will continue to be offered in 2017.
